"Atomic Habits" is based on how small changes, when created consistently, will eventually come up with remarkable changes after some time. James Clear explains how habits carve our identity and how improving only 1% every day will compound into significant transformations over time. This book has called me to focus more on systems and not on goals, for it is through systems that guide daily actions which eventually lead to success. Clear introduces the four laws of habit formation: make it obvious, make it attractive, make it easy, and make it satisfying, which help in building good habits and breaking bad ones.


This book highlights the power of environment and mindset in behavior molding. Clear discusses how cues and triggers influence habits, and he encourages readers to create an environment supportive for good habits while removing obstacles for bad ones. Once the science of habits has been understood and then the strategies are put into place, which are outlined here, it would be pretty easy to achieve long-lasting change in both personal and professional life.
